There are always few Best Google Chrome Extensions People use to turn their Chrome browser to a powerful toolbox to do daily tasks while surfing web and working online. I use many Chrome extensions to Increase Productivity while my work to carry out My daily tasks easily and in-time. Today I thought to share list of 10 Most Useful Google Chrome Extensions you start using right away.
10. Do Not Track Me:
If you hate websites tracking your online activities, information or location while you are online, you should Install “Do Not Track Me” Chrome extension. It takes privacy to next level, you can block analytics and Advertising tracking codes on different sites. If you want to unblock some specific tracking cookie, such as, lets say Google analytics on Lifehacker you can click on its icon and unblock that specific cookie. It also got a premium version but I use free version anyway.
9. Google Dictionary (by Google):
Google Dictionary is one of the simplest but useful extension for chrome. sometimes it happens that I am reading something and unable to identify the some specific word, I just double-click on it (that word, to select it) and here opens a little pop-up (with-in same page) explaining that word to me, its like having a mini dictionary at the distance of double-click.
8. One Tab:
I surf internet most of the time I am using computer, opening 20-25 tabs at a time and worrying about that much mess (and browser filling up PC’s RAM), I just simply don’t want to lose those web pages in web history. In this case One Tab Chrome extension comes handy by using which I can just save all of my opened web pages in one single tab (in form of links) as one session and Restore them whenever I want later. Also they do not stay opened in background and do not eat up RAM of PC, It kinda Sounds simple but its handy for a person like Me.
7. Hola Better Internet:
Fed up of some websites limiting their content to specific country or blocking in your country? God I hate it, that’s why I use Hola Chrome Extension, Whenever I want to surf some website which is limited to some country like UK or USA or simply blocked in my country I just click the icon in top right corner and turn it on and now I can reach that content. Its kind of a mini VPN for browser, easy to use and the best thing, it WORKS.
6. Google Keep (by Google):
Google Keep is one of the most simplest tools I use over my devices like Smartphone, PC and laptop. You can save Notes, To-Dos and reminders using Google Keep and thanks to google accounts, you can sync them over all of your devices like tablet, PC, laptop and smartphones, etc.
If you have never used pocket I would recommend you to try it atleast once. Pocket is a No Brainer Tool for people like me who open too many stories which I am unable to read at that time, you can easily save them to read later. To this point I know that there are many other chrome extensions to perform similar tasks but it is also available as iOS and android App (to get synced data between different devices) which is helpful if you are bed-time reader.
4. Checker Plus for Gmail:
Chrome notifications are no good for me (at least for now) so I need something which would notify me each time I receive an email on my Gmail account. Checker Plus for Gmail comes handy to such situations, it shows little notification right next to address bar so that I could click on it and check what email I got and from whom in a little pop-up, without disturbing my Surfing activity or work.
3. Push Bullet:
Pushbullet is one of the best Tools I have ever discovered like 6 months ago, its simple and you can’t know how it can help without using it. It’s available as a Chrome extension and Android and iOS App. You can get transfer stuff between your PC and Smartphone (and other devices) with just a click. You can share URLs, notes, location between your devices, also you can get access to notifications like SMS (when you receive on your phone) and reply to them from browser without even touching your phone.
2. Adblock Plus:
First I want to clarify that I know Bloggers and webmasters like Me, make money using advertisements on their blogs and websites but I just hate some specific type of annoying ads like pop-ups. So I have to use Adblock Plus to block ads from specific websites, also I block ads on sites using way too many ads which makes loading of a webpage much more slower.
Lightshot is basically available as a software for windows to take screenshots, edit them at the spot and share with your friends by uploading sharing URL with them. I recently discovered about this chrome extension and its one of My most used Chrome app at the time of writing this article as I take and share way too much screenshots in My browser.
